The staff was accommodating, but our room wasn’t clean.
The beach front is great, but the shared bathroom is a downside.
“Breathtaking views and private beach like area for snorkeling and turtle spotting”
The biggest plus is the wide open beachfront with amazing Pescador Island views; you can snorkel freely by renting gear and vests from nearby shops. The bathrooms weren’t attached, but they were kept very clean. There’s a small spot behind reception where you can store your scooter. The popular Panagsama beach sardine run diving area is just a 15‑minute walk from here. The room size was super small, especially if you want to keep two big luggage bags. We stayed in the Bamboo hut and insects came at night, which was scary. The road near the driveway was very muddy, especially when it rains, so you need to be careful with a scooter. The wooden benches in the property have nail rivets that can tear your garments, so you have to be very careful when sitting.
“It was nice and fun. We had to mostly stay just to rest”
I liked how the family room was arranged; it was spacious inside the center and had a nice airy balcony outside. I appreciated that the CR was very large, so we could play pickleball inside. The beds were wide, not too narrow. The family room is literally 20 steps from the CHILI Bar, so it’s better if you’re with family, and at night until dawn you might hear music from outside. Thanks to the kind staff and owner. My friend who stayed in the Kubo was also happy, though it gets very hot during the day, super cold at night, and breezy. With much appreciation, I honestly have a few points for improvement: I would have liked to be told to go straight to the family room, as the main resort address is not where the room is; we had to travel from the first accommodation to the separate family room only to be told, “naa ray tawo adto maam,” but I didn’t know. I didn’t like that we were clueless about how to check out; we were still looking for the bantay to hand the keys. I wish the rooms had mirrors so we could check out OOTD. I wish the IRCON’s gap were fixed or improved, since the coolness of the room can escape through it. The Wi‑Fi inside the room can’t be reached; putting an extender on the second floor might help.
“Bra nok”
Very close to the sea, but the Wi‑Fi is bad.
