The location and very spacious rooms in the middle of the rainforest are great, but getting there is hard; the hotel provides transport. We couldn’t pay by card because of payment‑system issues, but luckily we had enough cash, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

A truly unique hotel right in the heart of the jungle, offering free shuttle service; the rooms are spacious and very luxurious, the beds are comfy and the sauna is worth it. We booked two adjoining rooms for the kids and overall had an excellent experience. The only downside was that we only stayed one night.

“Het beste verblijf in Sri Lanka!”

I felt more at home here than anywhere else. We stayed for 2 nights, and a special thank you to Suren, Sameera & Siva for making our stay extra special. We felt seen and heard. This place has earned a special spot in my heart, and I will definitely come back in the future. If you love wildlife, this is the right spot. The surroundings are beautiful and sit beside a forest river with the special oriental kingfisher. The rooms are spread out so you feel like you have a private house. The room is super spacious and exudes luxury. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower is fantastic. The air conditioning works well. There's a parking spot for the car and the food is FANTASTIC—definitely the best chef in Sri Lanka! The only thing is we were far too short; I would have loved to stay the whole week.
