Halesford Harbour Resort - Smith Mountain Lake

We come every year for vacation and it's always a fantastic experience. The cabin cleaned stocked and very cozy, but maybe have some type of grill at the cabin.

The lake front view was great, but overall it was just okay.

“All in all a great stay”

The location was central to many of the best restaurants and shops in the area. The grounds included extras such as a pool, restaurant, pavilion, beach, and several docks. The private cabin was peaceful and had a lovely view of the lake. It had a full kitchen and a good sized bathroom, both of which were much appreciated. The restaurant was closed on three of the seven days we were there. Although the private cabin had a full kitchen and good sized bathroom, the bedroom was so small that we had nowhere to put our luggage other than in the living room space. The sleeping loft’s ceiling was so low that you had to crawl in and out of it, making it difficult for an adult to use, and the mattress on the sofa bed was thin

Er was niemand aanwezig tijdens de kantoor- of openingsuren, en er was geen mogelijkheid om je in te schrijven. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik na een telefoontje een terugbelletje en kreeg ik pas de kamercode. De hygiëne was slecht; de badkamer was vies en de douche werkte niet—helemaal NIET. (appartement 13). Het beddengoed had een nare geur.
