The staff were lovely, though breakfast options were limited; overall it was good.

The bed was comfy and the area of town was nice, but the room had no windows, only a door leading to an outside staircase, so people could wander in if we weren’t watching; it got hot and there was no air conditioning.

The place was clean, tidy, and smelled pleasant, but the breakfast lacked variety and felt a bit dull.

The location was fantastic, the continental breakfast offered plenty of food, tea, coffee, and drinks, the beds were warm, comfy, and quiet, and the downstairs sofas were nice; staff were helpful. The price was £183, higher than the usual £125 for a Saturday night (I checked); students were moving into Queens Uni that weekend, so maybe the rate went up. There was no window, so we had an emergency glass door open all night for air, and night lights stayed on because the door opened to the emergency stairwell—unexpected. The room seemed smaller than advertised. Trash, clothes, and an old sofa were dumped on the street beside the entrance; it was very unsightly, though I know the staff can’t do anything about it.
