Guruge villa

Guruge is extraordinary. He’s a great host who always makes sure you’re comfortable, keeps everything very clean, and the beds are very comfortable with a fan and mosquito net. There’s a clothesline, a kitchen, and it’s close to the center but not in it, giving the quiet feel of being in the countryside while being only 5 minutes from the train and bus. The small lockbox lets you leave valuables safely. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are clean and smell great. He accompanied us and explained the different foods in the Sunday market, and advised us on good places to eat local food at a very good price. Bohoma stutiyi Guruge!!

I met Guruge the night before and he was such a friendly host; I felt right at home even though I only stayed one night. We chatted over tea in the morning and the place was surrounded by lush greenery, giving off good vibes all around.
