Pousada Luz do Sol in Penha offers family rooms with private bathrooms, wardrobes, and dining areas. Guests enjoy free Wi‑Fi, 24‑hour front desk, parking, minibar, and an outdoor dining terrace. Daily buffet breakfast includes fresh pastries, cheese, fruit, and juice. Walking tours, nearby rafting, and Praia de Armação do Itapocorói are a 4‑minute walk away; the airport is 11 km distant.

The spot is spot‑on – just a short walk to the beach and under ten minutes on foot to Beto Carrero, plus it faces the town’s best snack bar. The owners are really friendly and always ready to lend a hand.

Being right near the main avenues, bakeries and city attractions makes getting around a breeze. The only drawback is the tiny window in the room; it keeps the noise down but the airflow is pretty poor.

Staff were courteous and the room felt clean and cozy, with a solid mattress and a hot shower that had good pressure. Breakfast was simple yet thorough – fresh French bread, cold cuts, butter, jam, dulce de leche, a slice of cake, two fruits, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, yogurt and orange juice, plus occasional extra sides. Wi‑Fi worked fine, and after three days I’m already planning a return.
