The room was tidy and the water was free, but the Wi‑Fi was subpar and the place always had a sewer smell that only the fan could push away; the internet was also weak and the location was a bit out of the city.

The staff were friendly and organized our activities at good prices. The market was nearby and you could eat for $5. The only drawback was that it was a little far from the sea.

The spot was great for reaching both the beaches and the promenade, just a short walk from the market where you can eat cheaply (though you need to go early in the morning 😅); everything was close, and if you don’t mind walking you can even reach the Lobería on foot, about 2.5 km away. We were very happy, they helped us book a pickup to tour the upper part of the island and get to Tortughera and Playa Chinos. The only downside was that our terrace didn’t have a hammock 🥺.

The big bed was comfortable, but the shower was full of limescale so the spray was badly regulated.
