Sea View Villa

The parents I booked for enjoyed a fantastic stay; the room and the whole property were spotless, well-kept, and very cozy. The owner was extremely welcoming and went out of his way to help them. The spot is superb—just a short walk to the sea with lovely views, and close to local sights. I’d definitely book here again.

The accommodation was simply wonderful. Two rooms, two bathrooms, plus a lobby and a kitchen that has everything for a comfortable stay, even a washing machine, which is rare in villas. A large terrace offers a stunning ocean view just a 2‑minute walk away. Nearby is a turtle farm, and a 5‑minute walk takes you to a temple and a big Buddha statue. The breakfasts were tasty. The villa owners were very pleasant and attentive. This is definitely the best place we’ve lived in Sri Lanka. If you want a comfortable stay in Sri Lanka, Sea View Villa is the spot.

Everything was good: air‑conditioning and bathrooms in each room, a pleasant common area, hot shower water, very clean and freshly renovated. The hosts were magnificent, eager to help with any request. The beach is across the road; I swam at the farther one, but watching the sunset from there was perfect. They served both English and local breakfasts at set times, tasty! The coffee was excellent. The downside was road noise, so I didn’t want to breakfast on the outdoor terrace‑balcony. Wi‑Fi upload speed was very slow, about 3 mb/s, but that’s a country‑wide issue and not the apartment’s fault.

The hosts were very friendly. The kitchen was fully functional with everything you need. The location was ideal, with a nice view, and right next to the building there were stands selling grilled sardines and locally raised fresh chickens. A small grocery store was also nearby. We highly recommend this place in Sri Lanka, especially for scuba divers. Natali & Rudi

“A very convenient location for visiting the "Seenigama Dewalaya"”

The newly renovated villa has a charming old‑style look and faces Galle Road. A safe parking slot is available for two vehicles. It’s within walking distance to Seenigama Dewalaya, making it very convenient for temple visits. All equipment, wall fittings, and room arrangements are neat and well maintained. A small kitchenette lets you brew tea or fresh fruit juice. I especially want to point out that the bathroom water pressure is excellent, a rarity in many Sri Lankan hotels. A nearby restaurant is about 1 km along the main road toward Colombo, but its quality is below average; it can be an option if there are no alternatives. The value for money is about three‑quarters, as the charges are slightly higher than similar‑grade hotels in Sri Lanka, possibly due to the property being in a tourist area.
