“Stinky, smelly, moldy, filthy, uncomfortable!!!!!!”

Our room had a musty, moldy smell, the bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold, the shower was filthy, the sample shampoo had already been used, the dryer plug was broken and stripped, the bathroom itself was dirty and stank, the beds creaked with every move and smelled dank, the floor was sticky and nasty, and the room had stains all over the walls—definitely the worst place we’ve ever stayed in. When we asked to switch rooms, the lady at the desk said “it’s the best room we’ve got” and handed us a can of air freshener. Everything could have been so much cleaner with a little effort.

“Above average for the price”

The room was nicer than most at this price, featuring the usual amenities plus a comfortable chair. However, there was no place to open a suitcase except on top of a desk, which is typical nowadays. I wish there had been a small side table to set a drink on, something you don’t find in many places today.

“It was good for the price”

The location to I‑95 was convenient with easy access, but the floors were dirty, wires were hanging out of the smoke alarm, wires were exposed on the back of the hair dryer plug, and the bedside lamp was pulling away from the wall.

I liked the place because it felt safe, which mattered since I travel alone, but the room was not decent—photos prove it. The walls were dirty and stained, needed repainting, there was no toilet lid on the back of the toilet, mold in the shower, and the walls in every area were nasty. My visitor asked if I needed a tetanus shot before coming in. The bathtub had no stopper, the sink had no toilet lid or back of the toilet, and I heard noise all night from people next door talking; it wasn’t loud, but the placement of the beds needed reconsideration—they were against the same wall. It was filthy and nasty, yet I didn’t complain because I was happy to spend time with my friend. It is definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone, and I will never stay there again. The pictures prove this; would you pay over $200 to stay in this?

The location was great and quiet, but the lighting was awful and very dark in the room. A roach crawled on the bed my kids were sleeping on, and I saw another roach crawl under the refrigerator. The walls were very dirty.
