The location and good value for money are great, Jorge is very friendly and attentive; perhaps some improvements could be made in the bathroom (hooks for hanging towels) and maintenance and renovation tasks.

We stayed a few days at La Casa de los Colores and the experience was excellent; everything was perfect from the start. The service was unbeatable: the staff are very kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. The room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy, ideal for resting after exploring San Cristóbal de las Casas. One of the things we liked most were the upper‑level terraces, a beautiful place to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and admire spectacular views of the city and the mountains. Plus, in the morning they can prepare coffee or tea, and having breakfast up there with those views is a real luxury. Definitely a highly recommended place. If we return to San Cristóbal de las Casas, we’ll gladly stay again. Thank you for making us feel at home!
Jorge is super friendly and makes you feel at home, everything else is fine.
The hostel has everything you need, it’s well located, away from the center’s noise but close enough to walk (about 15‑20 minutes depending on where you go). It’s near the market and the neighborhood has cheaper places to eat, laundry… The terrace is very pleasant, the facilities are simple but comfortable and have what’s necessary. Jorge is always available for whatever you need.
