The meal times were relatively flexible, so I could relax without feeling rushed. Dinner and breakfast were both buffet, offering a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes that were very tasty. Afternoon tea and drinks after the bath were also appreciated. The exterior of the hotel looked worn and a bit deteriorated, but the interior was very clean.

The front‑desk lady, though older and surprisingly informal, was friendly and made the check‑in smooth, and the kitchen gentleman explained each dish carefully and greeted every departing guest personally, leaving a very good impression. Still, staying at a hotel under the Ōedo Onsen Group meant it felt like a generic, mass‑produced property with average hospitality and all‑inclusive service; the rooms and facilities are dated—tatami mats give a strong sense of age and seem slated for renovation. It was also nice that there weren’t many inbound or group travelers at that time.

The restaurant was very good. The on‑site ping‑pong was enjoyable, and the onsen was very clean with a nice view. The rooms and the exterior are dated and should be refreshed. Meal times are quite restrictive; they’ll rush you 15 minutes before closing.
