The hostel is near Tebiro beach, but a bit far from the rest of Akaogi where most restaurants and grocery shops are concentrated. Without a car, it’s not ideal. The reception was very friendly and gave a lot of advice. The double room on tatami was comfortable and air‑conditioned. Many items are available for purchase or rent (drinks, equipment…). Unfortunately, sharing the room with another couple was a bit troublesome in terms of noise, space usage, and cleanliness. The common area (the kitchen) is not huge + very stuffy, so it’s not very welcoming. We regretted the family‑like atmosphere we were looking for 🤷🏼♀️ It’s a pity there’s no bike for rent, it would help balance the location!
