We enjoyed a wonderfully quiet and relaxing time on the houseboat, which was well equipped and left nothing to be missing. The roof terrace was especially dreamy – we could unwind nicely and savor the time on the water. Because the houseboat sits directly on the water, we did get a fair amount of mosquito visits; there were nets on the windows, but we would have liked one in front of the large doors as well. We also appreciated the completely hassle‑free key handover via the key box with a secret code, which made our arrival flexible. We cannot comment on the staff since we had no personal contact with anyone. Overall, it was a beautiful and restful stay that we thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to the neighboring boat was unfortunately a bit inconvenient. In general, we don’t mind if someone fishes all day, but in this case the fishing rods had bells attached, so there was a constant jingling from morning until evening. Additionally, the neighbor smoked heavily and the smoke drifted over to us with the wind, which was somewhat annoying over time. Another suggestion would be to bring luggage up to the entrance gate; even though there is a trolley‑like transport, it is hard to keep the luggage dry in heavy rain, so you end up getting wet down to the underwear. A better solution in bad weather would be appreciated.

A wonderful place full of peace and nature. There were few waste disposal options, and a better water‑entry step would be nice.

I didn’t receive any information about the boat number and key codes (gate to the dock and code for the boat’s front door); otherwise everything was really good!

“Mooie boot. Leuke haven en rustig. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de boot. Bed was nog niet opgemaakt bij aankomst en er waren”

The view was stunning and the location was peaceful, but unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong odor. On the plus side, the room was spotless, which was a relief. However, the price of 700 euros for two nights was way too high considering what the accommodation offered. The real issue was with the booking platform we used, which added a ton of extra fees that we had to pay on top of the initial cost - completely unreasonable.
