Hotel Brasserie Florian, located in the centre of Wijk bij Duurstede, offers free Wi-Fi and bicycle rentals through a local bike store. National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug is a 10-minute drive away. Each room features a seating area, desk, and some have a flat-screen TV. Breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dinner are served in the restaurant with a veranda offering views of the market and Duurstede castle.

Breakfast was included in the price. The room was large but a bit spartan in furnishings. It was clean. The location was in the heart of Wijk bij Duurstede so walking around the city centre and to the castle was easy. The bus stop to get back to Utrecht wasn’t too far away. It seemed somewhat overpriced.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. We had to climb two steep flights of stairs to reach the room.

The spot is great and the staff are friendly, but the church clock starts early on Sundays.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was generous, yet the church bells rang every quarter hour, the rooms felt dated, the wooden floors were noisy, and the flushing in other rooms could be heard.
