The location and the hotel were horrible, and the whole environment was awful; the hotel definitely wasn’t worth the price.

I found the rates reasonable and the accommodation was quite good, so I’m likely to book again. The breakfast, however, fell short of my expectations.

“Keep a slippery sign up in the back. Tell the breakfast lady we are guest who keep her employed and not her kids.”

The location right off I‑10 and near a Waffle House is convenient, and the free parking works well. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The hallway carpet was filthy and smelled bad, and the A/C condensation dripped onto the painted walkway under the awning, making it extremely slick—almost caused me to slip. The breakfast on Monday at 6 AM was five minutes late. When I opened the door for a coffee, the lady scolded me like a child for five minutes before it turned into a funny moment because she clearly seemed stressed.

The area was quiet with little traffic, but the room had a strong mildew odor, the carpet was damp, and the bathroom door kept sticking so I couldn’t get out.

The price was good, but my son, daughter‑in‑law, and grandson chose this place because of the pool. On a beautiful day the pool was closed, the blanket had a huge hole, and we found tiny black hairs in the shower when we entered the room.
