The front‑desk staff were incredibly helpful and even upgraded us to a deluxe family room, which felt like a real treat. The inn’s Japanese courtyard and lovely breakfast hall reminded me of a place I stayed at in Yufu, and finding a similar spot in Taiwan is truly amazing. The only downside was that, being tucked away in the mountains, a few small bugs appeared, the road to the inn was narrow and hidden, and there’s a steep slope that requires caution.
