Poem, the manager, is the best host I’ve ever met—friendly, helpful, and always anticipating our needs. Once we jumped into the pool before grabbing towels from the lobby, she had already brought them out, called us over, and set them on a table. The pool area felt so welcoming that we added two more days to our stay. A few minutes after we booked online, Poem appeared at the pool and asked if we’d like to keep our rooms. Every time we spoke with her, she was thrilled to see us. Two of us shared a room with a single key, so we left it at the front desk when we split up; Poem and the rest of the staff always let us know who was returning first and whether the key was still in the room or handed to us. The breakfast buffet is small but delightful—red curry and guava juice were highlights. The rates are very reasonable, and the location is close to many restaurants and interesting spots. We’ll definitely come back whenever we’re in Chiang Mai. The only downside was the air conditioner in the room was a little loud, but it didn’t keep us up.
