The resort sits on a beautiful spot right by the sea, perfect for watching sunsets, and overall it’s well maintained. A few very sweet cats made my stay complete, though I wish the resort would take better care of them instead of leaving them to fend for themselves; I’d definitely come back for the cats. On arrival we were quickly asked if we wanted an upgrade. They showed us the worst room, which was old and dirty, and the upgrade cost almost double the price—though it was much better. The front desk lady immediately told her colleague that we shouldn’t get a discount, assuming we couldn’t understand them because we were clearly from abroad, so it felt a bit like a scam: paying a lot to just “sit well.” The apartment was fine and clean, except the bathroom was very old.
