Located on Mittenwald’s quiet outskirts, it sits 2 km from the Karwendelbahn cable car to Westliche Karwendelspitze and a 20‑minute drive to Elmau Castle and Garmisch‑Partenkirchen. The surrounding alpine terrain is perfect for hiking, cycling, and skiing.

The guest house is situated in a quiet spot and offers a superb view from the balcony. The room was very large and clean, and we could safely store our bicycles. Breakfast was very tasty. Check‑in was hassle‑free with a PIN code. The bike storage area was not ideal, with only a few sockets and everything felt cramped.

A beautiful room with a stunning view. We could easily prepare dinner and breakfast. Loved the sauna and pool (just be careful, the floor is slippery in this area). Parking was easy, and I also appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainable waste management. Highly recommend this place!

The view from the balcony is a dream, with a direct look at the Karwendel mountains. No outside noise can be heard… so very quiet. You can hike a lot in the surroundings and let everyday life rest. The breakfast was basically fine… it could be more varied, e.g. croissants. The reception was only staffed from 8‑10 am.
