The courtyard was nice, but we booked a large double room (13 m²) and were given a smaller one; they said the next day we’d be moved but didn’t give a time. We woke up early the next day to see the city, and when we asked at 18:00 they told us the change would happen at 12:00, so we ended up with a room that didn’t match what we paid for.

The bed was comfortable, the towels very soft, and it’s close to the Medina entrance. The room was tight, but we only needed it to freshen up and rest a few hours before our next flight, so it was fine for the price. For stays longer than a day it can be very uncomfortable; I’m not sure if they offer larger rooms in the riad. Also there was noise from the reception and from people coming and going.

Water drainage in the bathroom was affected by the air conditioning.
