Palazzo Bembo, a historic Venetian palace beside the Rialto Bridge, offers elegant rooms with antique furnishings, free Wi‑Fi, and satellite TV. Some rooms overlook the Grand Canal, others the San Salvador Canal. A spacious dining room serves breakfast with canal views, and room service is available. The Rialto water‑bus stop lies just outside.

The hotel’s central spot meant short walks to all of Venice’s sights, and the rooms were in a Venetian style. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, plus there’s a vaporetto stop right in front of the hotel. The downside is that the boat traffic can get pretty loud early in the morning, especially for rooms facing the side canal.

Location, location, location! The place is clean and gorgeous, and the water‑taxi drop‑off is literally just outside the doors.

Very central, with excellent staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms are beautiful.
