Bed pillows were superior. Two small issues: 1) Two of the 6 light bulbs in the rooms four lamps were burned out (rm 328) 2) The only guest self-serve ice machine is in the basement, and it was not working. I understand it went out of service the night before. Staff provided ice from the inn kitchen area

The inn is distinctive and has potential; it's quiet, the bathroom is huge, and breakfast is fine, but the beds feel a bit soft, the carpet needs cleaning, and an icemaker on each floor would be welcome.

The place is unique and historic, with George Washington paintings everywhere, and there were no issues.

The accommodation was comfortable, though if you need gluten‑free options on certain days it might be difficult.
