The location was spot on, the breakfast was adequate. However, there was one missing outdoor shower mat and an extra bath towel.

We never actually stayed there; the hostess had a family bereavement and asked us to cancel.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a lockable chest in the wardrobe. The view of the canal was superb, the elevator was handy, and the reception staff were friendly and smiling.

The bed was good. The shower was missing a wall, and a detachable shower head would reduce splashing; there were unusual marks on the wardrobe and the wall.
