The owner spoke German – nothing else! The former manor house is totally run down; the booked room wasn’t available. The alternative room had no balcony (as booked), only a bedside lamp, no toiletries, and the “restaurant” didn’t live up to the name – besides sauerkraut soup there was only an indistinguishable stuffed dumpling, looking like a mechanic’s lodging. The reviews there don’t make sense.

“Wypad weekendowy z rodziną.”

The location is Palace by the lake, with convenient parking and a large apartment size; the host and staff are very friendly, the dogs are nice, and the property has great potential to be used in the future. For people looking for quiet and peace – ideal.

“Zum Anschauen des Geländes gern, Übernachten leider nie wieder.”

The surroundings and the castle park are gorgeous, and the castle itself, the main house, and the rooms look beautiful. However, there was no staff on site; we were told that on Saturday at 10 am no one would be there and that we were lucky the booking had been accepted. This was not what the description said: no air‑conditioning—at 37 °C it was better to sleep outside, no baby cot was available so we had to bring our own, and there was no bed sheet provided, which seems to be the norm. The real issue was the extremely unfriendly staff; we felt guilty as guests, especially at the restaurant.

Beautiful and charming spot for a break. The host loves animals, and the food and service were excellent. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks for the stay.

Very friendly service. Delicious homemade lunches, big thanks to the kitchen staff. It’s very quiet and peaceful, a great escape from city noise. The beds and mattresses are comfortable.
