“I would be very reluctant to do business with I HG or booking again”

The breakfast ran out quickly and the coffee tasted watery. The staff were genuinely kind, yet the facility felt worn out and overpriced at 400 per night, with tax supposedly included until after payment when I was warned of possible extra taxes or fees on booking. American corporations such as Booking and IHG seem increasingly profit‑driven and less customer‑focused. A small bottle of water cost over 3 dollars in a place where tap water isn’t really drinkable, which feels like a cheap trick. I had booked three nights for a heart procedure nearby, but when I needed a fourth night the price rose.

“Good clean hotel with very comfortable bed”

The room was large with an extremely comfortable bed, and the central location made exploring the island easy; there was plenty of free parking and the staff were friendly. However, a $65 charge appeared on our bill for no reason, and the staff wouldn’t remove it at checkout because “the manager wasn’t there that day.” Two emails were needed to get the money back, which was disappointing since the rest of the reception team were helpful.
