The check‑in process was smooth, but the room was very noisy—trucks, trains, and paper moving against the walls made it hard to sleep.

The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the staff were friendly—nothing else to note.
“Cheapest motel in Forbes but not worth it if you want a good night sleep!”
Descent motel if you need a last‑minute spot. The location isn’t great, loud near the highway and train line. The motel is run down, although the bathroom had a refurbish.

The king‑size bed, comfy armchairs, and coffee table were great, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The staff were friendly, but the location was terrible: trucks race past all night and a freight train runs by, creating constant noise. If you sleep like a log or are deaf, this might suit you. The bottom sheet on the bed was too small and bunched up, making it uncomfortable. Double or triple glazing would cut down the noise, and a weather strip around the door would stop the wind. Next time I’ll stay in Parkes.
