The hot springs were incredibly relaxing, but the old building gave the room a slight musty smell.

The hospitality from all the staff was outstanding, the atmosphere was relaxing, both dinner and breakfast were delicious, the open‑air bath was fantastic, and I appreciated the loaner shampoo and conditioner; the only downside was that the toilet kept running continuously.

The breakfast and dinner were upscale, the staff were courteous, and the hotel’s pick‑up service to places like Ureshino Bus Center and the onsen train station was convenient; the onsen facilities, especially the outdoor open‑air bath, were a must‑see and everything felt superb. I left feeling my own worth had risen, thanks to the Hamilton Hotel, and I’d love to return for another indulgent stay.
