The place was easy to check in late at night, even without a precise arrival time, and the beautiful painted room and countryside peace were lovely. In a few spots (in the shower room) water leaked where it shouldn’t have.

The location had its own charm. It was fairly quiet, though the walls were thin and a louder group stayed next door.

“Mājīgi, ērti un skaisti”

We really liked the room’s interior, the paintings and details that made the place feel especially homely. The comfortable and spacious layout made it easy for our trio to feel at ease. We especially enjoyed the night‑time location of the bed: we sat on the large balcony, drank tea, and savored the fantastic Vidzeme scenery. It was warm, clean, comfortable and homely.

I only stayed for one night and barely got a glimpse of the area. The room was wide and brand‑new, decorated in a rustic romantic style. However, there was no sign pointing to the highway.
