The location was great and the on‑site restaurant/tavern was a plus; the food was delicious, the continental breakfast was nice and included, the beds were comfy, and the room and facilities were clean. There was a great outdoor space that featured a band on Friday night. The barrel bolt latch on the bathroom door didn’t line up, so you had to lift the door to align the latch and keep it closed, which was extra challenging in the middle of the night. We couldn’t find the TV remote and had to ask for help; the staff found it under one of the beds, showing that a bit more care could’ve been taken in preparing the room.
