“Molfetta - gute Lage - gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis”
We didn’t know Molfetta before because we chose the place for its proximity to Bari Airport and only stayed one night. The room is in the “Centro Storico”. The town and its history, the narrow old town streets, the Duomo and its historic buildings, its restaurants and cafés, all of that pleased us very much, and naturally its closeness to Bari, that all pleased us very much. The kitchen setup was sparsely furnished, but it had a capsule coffee machine, a kettle and other appliances. Daily there were coffee pods, juice, water and croissants and some pastries. We found that good. Despite the negative points at least the price‑value ratio was agreed, so I didn’t want my review to be negative!
Because of the description and the price‑value ratio we expected a typical Apulian old‑building apartment. However the furnishings were very sparse and not at all homely. We were not aware beforehand that we would be on the main traffic road that runs through the old town center and is very busy. Our room and thus the only window faced directly at this busy street, which remains loud even deep into the night. There is a smaller skylight window to the side street, but it was also directly affected by the main road. We therefore kept the windows closed all night. The façade greenery is nice from the outside, but that meant no daylight entered the room at all. However the room could be well lit by direct and indirect lighting. The bathroom is functional.
