The view of the bay was amazing, the house sits in a very beautiful, secluded garden that also feels safe, and the caretakers were very friendly and kept the house spotless; however, caretakers Fernando and Rebecca speak barely English, while the owner Jan is fortunately excellent.

The location, amenities, and communication with the host were top; unfortunately, during our stay it was very loud—being in San Juan del Sur for Semana Santa, the club at the harbor ran until about 4:30 am, but it might be quieter outside the holidays.

I spent five weeks in Nicaragua and finally got to shower with hot water here; the cabin is entirely built in a gorgeous rustic wooden style, and I really enjoyed my stay—highly recommend it. It’s close to the beach, the Malecon, and the town center, though I couldn’t find the accommodation on the map, which is my only complaint.
