“great stay on route thanks”

The room was good, though the shower felt a bit old‑fashioned and lacked grab rails. The food was great, breakfast was excellent, and the pub across the street served brilliant food with a well‑stocked bar. Everything else was fine, no issues.

“Say was pleasant , food good and staff very friendly but bedrooms needs sprucing up a bit for what you pay for”

The location was good. However, there were no sockets to plug a phone or watch next to the beds. I suggest they add a pod for about £13 that includes USB‑A or USB‑C; currently there is nothing.

“The hotel perfectly met all of our needs and we felt very welcomed as Americans.”

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We could still use the spa after checkout, which was amazing. Parking was free and readily available. The rooms felt a little dated but still met our needs. The beds were a bit small for our standards but still very comfortable. The location was fine for what we needed, though we still had to drive to reach any attractions.

“Really good facilities, the restaurant, pub in the gardens, the swimming pool made out stay worthy of returning.”

The receptionists were two lovely ladies who were very helpful, friendly, and made the unfamiliar hotel feel welcoming. The mattress was a bit too firm, probably because we’re used to a Tempur mattress, and the pillows were so full that we couldn’t lie down comfortably—almost like sitting up. Sorry to bring that up!

I found it great value for money compared to four other nearby hotels I've stayed at. The only downside was that I had to leave.
