There were many flaws, but the staff’s kindness was a bright spot; the room lacked a fridge and a hair‑dryer—basic items that should be provided—there were no free toiletries despite the listing, all the floor keys broke midway through our stay so we couldn’t get back to the room without a bellboy and the lifts stopped working, the auto‑lock key cover was reported broken yet they dismissed it, ants were crawling on the table like a nest, which was very unpleasant, and the overall impression didn’t match the photos.

The staff stayed friendly in all situations, and the hotel is close to Colon Street with many malls and near Pier 1 for the boat to various islands. I have stayed here several times over the years and always praised it, but lately I see clear signs of decline. I suspect foreign overseas owners are in charge, which doesn't improve things. The breakfast is no longer worth it, and the halls and stairs are not cleaned. I have to ask for clean towels and toilet paper myself. Hopefully this isn't a hospice setup and the staff will keep serving as they should. Tip for customers: don't book too far in advance.

The only plus was the location near the port and a 7eleven. The staff were helpful. The state of the hotel is tragic, and the breakfasts are disgusting.
