The Large Studio features a private balcony with mountain and garden views. It sleeps three guests, includes a fold‑up bed and a crib, and provides a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and a flat‑screen satellite TV with radio, telephone and free Wi‑Fi. The en‑suite bathroom has a shower, bathtub, hairdryer and free toiletries, while heating, single‑room air‑conditioning, a wardrobe, desk, safety deposit box and ironing facilities complete the room.

I had a fantastic stay at this motel, which boasts an excellent location with easy access to the train and bus station in Newmarket. Although navigating Auckland's public transportation system took some getting used to, the convenience of using a credit card to scan in and out made it easy and affordable. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly - I especially appreciated being able to store my luggage for free before check-in and after check-out.
Unfortunately, my stay at this motel was a far cry from what I had expected based on the pictures I'd seen. The reality was quite different, and I was left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed.
“Ex-Emegency housing motel! So be wary and do not expect nice rooms. The only bonus to this place was having heaps of par”
My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag, with the location being the only truly positive aspect. However, upon further research, I discovered that the hotel is actually an ex-emergency housing facility, which explained the unpleasant smell, dirty conditions, and malfunctioning shower. Needless to say, I was shocked to have paid as much as I did for such a subpar experience.

While this hotel's location is certainly a major plus, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others unless they have no other options in the area. The price is reasonable, but it's not a place I'd choose to stay unless absolutely necessary.
