The caravan is beautifully decorated and modern, offers plenty of amenities, the décor is clean and tidy, it’s spacious and uncluttered, the furniture is mostly brand new, the sofa and corner sofa are extremely comfortable, it’s not far from the main attractions on the site, and it’s clean and welcoming. There is nothing to dislike about this place.

The location was convenient for our needs and the shower was great. However, the beds were horrendous and uncomfortable, with a thin, soft mattress on a metal mesh suspension camp‑bed‑type frame.

We just came back from staying in your caravan at Lyons Robin Hood from 12th to 14th June 2026, and the place was in an unacceptable state of cleanliness when we arrived. After arriving Friday afternoon and starting to unpack, it quickly became clear the caravan hadn’t been properly cleaned or inspected beforehand. Inside the freezer were many toothpicks that had been swept under the freezer door, plus crumbs on top of the freezer compartment that only showed up when the door opened. Under one of the beds we found empty ice lolly wrappers and used tissues, only noticed while making the beds. The air fryer had food residue and grease from a previous guest, so we felt uneasy using it without knowing how long the remnants had been there. The draining board had food stains, and moving the chopping board revealed a thick stain underneath with a very unpleasant smell. The toothbrush holder in the bathroom was covered in dried toothpaste and clearly uncleaned. The cutlery tray had crumbs and debris from prior use. In the main bedroom, one drawer already held clothes left by a previous occupant, while another had a toenail clipping. The boiler has no cover, so the naked flame is visible, which is a hazard. Whether the owner, family members, friends, or a cleaning company is responsible, these standards are completely unacceptable. The caravan had clearly not been cleaned or inspected properly before our arrival, so we had to leave the site to buy cleaning supplies and spent Friday evening cleaning it ourselves to make it suitable for our family.
