A private balcony and terrace overlook the pool, with direct access to a private pool. The room contains one double bed for two guests. The bathroom offers a bathtub or shower, bidet, toilet, free toiletries, towels and linens. Climate control is provided by air conditioning, and the space includes a flat‑screen TV, safe, sitting area and a clothes rack.

The location was bad, the staff were nice but loud.
“Ok stay, but for the money I'm sure there are way better options in the island.”
The room was clean and the bed very comfy, and the location was good, right in the middle of the island so everything was close, but the facilities need serious renovation, especially the pool side of the villas; the wood was in very bad state and easy to get hurt; the room floor was unstable and the walls very thin, so we could hear everything from the neighboring villa; the staff, though they seemed nice people, were not very attentive; wifi was pretty bad, the connection very unstable.

The room itself is fine, even pretty, but the internal cleaning and external spaces definitely need more attention; the beams around the outdoor pool near the room must be fixed because they lift when you walk over them and are dangerous; the cleaning, as well as the reception, which is evidently handled by local guys rather than the property itself, definitely needs improvement; the staff should be more present, attentive, and alert; the location is in a very quiet area far from the chaos, but it’s essential to rent an e‑bike to tour the island, which the property provided at a good price.

Only one dirty towel and dirty sheets were provided, the pool was half empty and had no water circulation, the sink was leaking, and there was no hair dryer.

At check‑in we spotted serious problems at Java Wood: floorboards that creak, lift, and look unstable, posing a trip or injury risk; multiple gaps in the walls; dust and dirt under the bed; rubbish outside the accommodation; a rotting fence beside the shower area; an unstable bed; a dangerous crack by the edge of the pool; an exposed electricity meter with its cover removed; overall poor cleanliness and maintenance. The attached photos don’t do it justice and we can’t upload videos to reviews. We were already worried after reading some reviews before arriving, yet it’s surprising this place keeps its 4‑star rating; 3 would be generous given its current condition. When we raised the concerns the staff member didn’t seem surprised and told us to contact . Both parties have not responded for over 3 days. Java Wood even sent a check‑out message showing their complete lack of customer service.
