The highlight of this spot is how close it is to the train station. I’ve never seen a hostel where the lockers in the rooms can’t be locked; I had to use the station lockers for my valuables. The beds weren’t the cleanest, and the linens felt a bit off.

A truly pleasant stay! The location right next to the train station is fantastic. The hostel was very tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets were fresh and clean. The room was small but cozy, and the separate large bathroom was a big plus. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Essen!

Almost every facility was good. I booked a bed for 20 euro but ended up paying 35 instead.
