I love how close it is to the city center, but the parking isn’t guaranteed by the hotel. If you manage to find a spot, great, otherwise you’ll have to wander a lot and unload your luggage far away. The staff expect spotless common areas, yet there are plenty of spiders and cobwebs in the kitchen and living room. In the rooms, as written, you can only drink water—nothing else is available.

“Bon séjour, a recommander”

The location is great and there’s plenty of outdoor space, but you have to leave the room to reach the private bathroom and toilet.

The central spot is perfect for exploring Saumur, and the street parking is quiet and convenient. The house has many rooms, is clean and well kept. The shared areas—kitchen, dining room, garden—are comfortable and equipped. The bed is very cozy and the room is spacious. The bathroom is spotless, brand new, with a large shower. NOTE: there is no elevator, but that’s not a problem for me because the building is clearly historic and that’s to be expected. The place can be a bit noisy since the stairs are wooden and you can hear other guests moving. The private bathroom is outside the room. The kitchen is well equipped, but with the potential number of guests, a few extra plates, cups, or dishes wouldn’t hurt.

The spot is fantastic, and there’s nothing to complain about.

The room is well organized, and the private bathroom is on the same floor. The accommodation’s location is very good, close to shops, bakeries, and restaurants. Driving is easy, and street parking is available without any hassle. The kitchen is very well equipped. In the living room there are many tourist brochures and a folder with useful information from the host.
