The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast selection felt very specific; fresh rolls from a bakery would have improved it, as the pre‑baked items were not great.

Landhaus Höpen sits beautifully on the edge of the heath and offers free parking. The breakfast was good, and the large swimming pool was especially noteworthy, where we could swim laps comfortably. The renovated room had a refrigerator and a balcony with a lovely view of nature, and the quiet surroundings helped us sleep well. If you want to dine at the hotel, you must book a table well before your stay, as both evenings were already booked at check‑in. The room was only superficially clean—dust on surfaces and hair on the mattress—and the mattresses were extremely soft; fortunately, we could remove the top mattress to sleep on the firmer lower one.

The location was very nice, and the dining room offered a great view. Breakfast was okay, and dinner was very good. The room furnishings were old, and the shower/bathtub was dangerous—too high and too slippery.

The location, rooms, and food were all good. The shower curtain was dirty.
