“Excellent rural hotel conveniently close to Calais”

The château was beautiful and set in a quiet area. The traditional French restaurant was excellent. Nothing to add.

The restaurant was fantastic, with staff who were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There were issues with pillows and a lack of them, and the bedrooms could use a bit of extra care.

“Great place to stop off for a night before heading to Calais or a longer stay to explore the area.”

We were greeted warmly, and our room featured a separate sitting/working area that we loved. The dinner was beautifully prepared, and the breakfast was excellent, giving us a solid start to the day. The only downside was that the bathroom towels were small and a bit worn.

The welcome was warm, the rooms were very comfortable, and the staff were fully competent and available; my old age made the stairs a bit difficult…😂

“Good food and location for easy start when heading back to the UK via EuroTunnel”

The spot is great for tunnel access, but the decor feels a bit dated.
