“Gostei”

Having a restaurant right next to the hotel was a relief after a long journey, so we didn’t have to drive around for dinner. It’s very well situated, and the breakfast was fabulous. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and creaked. The windows had some dust, both in the room and at reception. The toilets need a stronger cleaner; they’re full of limescale at the bottom and where the water comes out.

The location and price were good, close to Dachau CC, and the window could be opened wide for fresh air. There was free parking. We had a 10‑hour drive to get here, arrived at 20:00, found the parking full and the staff tired. That’s to be expected at that hour.

Central location for visiting Munich (great old town) and the Dachau concentration camp (5 min by car).

The breakfast was tasty and varied, parking was convenient, traffic in and out was smooth, and the concentration camp was also close. The lady at the desk didn’t look very pleasant and had us key‑in our passports on an iPad, which felt like a charge for self‑check‑in. The information desk was indifferent and seemed inappropriate. The next morning a different staff member was there and the experience felt better.
