Old Rectory

“Comfortable stay in elegant surroundings”

The room was comfortable and of a decent size in an elegant building that’s been well updated for modern needs. Breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious, beautifully cooked items. I’d definitely stay again. The evening bar snack service could have been a bit faster, but it was tasty when it finally arrived.

“No major problem experienced”

Breakfast was well organized, though it might have been even more efficient if guests could place orders the night before. The room, including the bathroom, was a decent size. I struggled to get a cold shower in the morning; only warm/hot water was available.

“Beautiful property made even better by the lovely people looking after us, in particular Natalie”

The location was very peaceful. The only downside was having to move on.

“Perfect location, perfect facilities , perfect staff . The weather was good as well :-)”

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. My wife and I have stayed in countless hotels over the years, but this place was as good as any. No issues.
