Chalés Belo Vale - Tiradentes

“Ótimo espaço, bem acomodado e com ótimo conforto. O chuveiro apresentou problema (precisam resolver)”

The location was fine – not in the historic centre but close, easy to get in and out of the city, and near nice shops; the shower was an issue. We booked three rooms for seven people, and all three showers had problems – water pressure was low, water was too hot or too cold, at various times. The staff was very attentive, said the issue was recurring, and was unsure if there was a plan to fix it.

The place is very charming and functional, but the coffee and shower were lacking.

“Se não fosse esse barulho da bomba teria sido ótimo”

The pousada is pretty cozy, the staff is helpful, breakfast is tasty, and the grounds are nice. But the room I got—though it’s the newest—had a water tank on top with a pump that kept firing off all day, making a piercing “piiiiiiiii” noise that made it hard to sleep or even stay in the room. The front desk kept telling me to turn off the main valve in front of the room, but they’d switch it back on to avoid running out of water for the whole place.

“Pousada com acomodação modesta, porém sem limpeza do quarto, café extremamente simples e frigobar vazio e sem opção de a”

The accommodation feels modern and breaks away from the old vibe of the town, which I liked. Breakfast, however, is a bit of a hassle—there’s a set time, only a handful of items (bread, a slice of ham, a slice of mozzarella, a slice of broa, and an overly sweet juice), and the mini fridge has no water or drinks to buy.

The coffee arrives right on time and the staff are quick to help. The downside? The shower water is freezing, and if the place gets crowded the hot water runs out fast.
