Temple Bar Townhouse

Helpful staff and right in the heart of the tourist nightlife, but there was no lift and the old building meant a lot of stairs.

The rooms were a bit cramped, missing a hook by the sink for towels and no storage shelf for toiletries; we also caught them renovating early in the morning. Still, the double rooms were tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good.

The location is great for staying in Dublin’s centre without being disturbed by noise, and I’d definitely return. The only drawback was the lack of vegan options at breakfast, which was otherwise excellent for everyone else.

The hotel’s central spot in Temple Bar is convenient, though the street below was a bit noisy during the early hours of the first night; overall it wasn’t too loud. The room was small and cramped, with nowhere to put suitcases, and the shower was very tiny.

“Great for Gigs!”

Location was perfect with the Button Factory venue 1min walk away. Right in the heart of Temple Bar. Accommodation was comfortable and compact. Perfect for an overnight stay. Bathroom facilities were basic but clean and everything worked
