“WE DID NOT STAY HERE”

HOW CAN I RATE A HOTEL THAT DID NOT LET ME STAY????? The hotel didn’t exist since October 2025, why wasn’t Booking aware? I wasn’t offered any compensation whatsoever. It’s just a joke!!!!

“This isn't a hotel anymore, wasn't notified that they'd closed down.”

The property was bought out in March, isn’t a hotel anymore, and the original owner hasn’t notified anyone, nor paid out a refund. I’ll definitely seek legal advice. The new owners were helpful enough and explained what happened. It’s now a shelter for the homeless. Hopefully someone can contact the original hotel owners and get me a refund.

“Don’t stay there !”

When we arrived, we were told the “hotel” was now housing homeless people and that we had no room because we had no booking. Only after showing them the confirmation did they find us a room—though the room type didn’t match the bed arrangement we’d booked. They refused us a key to the actual room we were staying in, so we couldn’t leave anything there. With time constraints, we had no choice but to stay at this “hotel,” which was very unhappy (understatement)! Honesty is the best approach, and if I had known the place’s setup I would 100% definitely NOT have booked there.

I couldn’t find any tea or coffee makers in my room, the TV was dead and there was no internet connection.

I was disappointed because the advertised hairdryer never arrived, even after I asked and a phone call was made; the night staff claimed they had no idea. The room also lacked the free toiletries that were promised, and there was no dining area as advertised. I had to wait over 2 hours and ask two different staff members for a bath plug, and they gave me a slightly dirty mug that I had to wash before use. The next morning the night staff handed me a filthy mug that I couldn’t drink from until I cleaned it. The breakfast room, the only place with a kettle, had a foul smell and the kettle itself was extremely dirty. The bathroom was in a terrible state – mildew, a dirty radiator valve that wouldn’t turn off, and a broken plug – and I have several pictures to prove it. The welcome sign on the entrance door was a joke. I wish I could show more photos to illustrate how awful it was. In short, stay away! When I tried to bring these issues to the staff, they just lied.
