“Très agréable séjour avec une Hôte très attentionnée”

I loved everything about the place: the independent guesthouse (a small annex in the host’s garden with shared access), the comfort, the roomy bedroom, the services, and on top of that a charming host who seemed able to handle any situation. The only downside was that because the room’s entrance is in the host’s garden, the terrace isn’t private, but that was fully described in the listing, so no unpleasant surprises.

“Déçu”

The property has two large guard dogs. I’m terrified of dogs and that wasn’t mentioned in the hotel’s conditions, so I had to find another place when I arrived because they wouldn’t keep the dogs locked up.

The quietness, cleanliness, décor, and the very simple and pleasant reception made the stay great. Breakfast was good, served with care, featuring fresh bread and pastries. I recommend it.

The location, cleanliness, comfort, the hotel’s friendliness, the terrace breakfast, and the dogs were all positives. A wardrobe space and a kettle might be missing, and while the host isn’t at fault, it’s a shame the nearby restaurant was closed in August.
