The front desk lady was friendly when we checked in, and the breakfast was convenient. However, the elevator was out of order, forcing my 76‑year‑old mother and me to lug our luggage up the stairs. The hallway carpets were filthy with stains and desperately needed vacuuming, while the room carpet was slightly better but still not suitable for walking barefoot. Both the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, and I kept waking up to flip over because my back ached badly. The bathtub was disgusting—mold around the faucet, hard‑water stains, and soap scum everywhere—so I wore flip‑flops in the shower instead of going barefoot. The toilet, at least, was clean.
