The room was large and the breakfast great, and the grounds were lovely, but the gym and pool/spa area needed a refurbishment.

The hotel was friendly and the location next to Bowood House was great for kids, yet we had told the hotel we were bringing a 3‑year‑old and no provisions were made in the room; the reception team sorted it quickly.
