The sea access, the pool, the spacious room with all the comforts, friendly staff, and the adorable dog were all highlights, plus the bus stop right outside the hotel door to get to Argao.

Quiet and not crowded, with a superb sea view—especially at sunrise, which you can enjoy right from the bed. No complaints so far.

“Aufenthalt ok”

The room was huge and clean (I’d give it 8 points for that), but the beds and bathroom weren’t cleaned during the four nights. The pool was right in front of the room with a stunning sea view. The staff were very friendly, and you could see the sunrise from the bed. A few restaurants are within walking distance, though finding vegetarian options is a challenge. Getting to town is best by bus or scooter, which you can rent from the Beachhouse. The Beachhouse sits on the main road, so it can get quite loud. The entrance area feels a bit odd and not very welcoming. I didn’t like that a large, smelly dog roamed around, often sitting close to me, blocking the way, and leaving droppings on the lawn with the lounge chairs. The big bar had no drinks in the afternoon and evening, only during breakfast hours. For the relatively high price in Cebu, I expected more amenities, and the breakfast could have been included. Overall, the location doesn’t offer much else; it’s best for pool lovers.
