The place is very clean and the cleaning staff is extremely nice. The location is also commendable, close to the metro station, university and Botanical Garden. However, read other low‑rated comments before booking. The problems I will mention are similar. We had various issues and never experienced so many embarrassing situations in 20 years of travel. These include a 5% surcharge for credit or debit payment; water leakage that flooded the room; excessive noise most days ruining sleep (usually starting between 5h30min and 6h30min) and the staff did nothing or was the source of loud talking; the hotel does not have breakfast on site and outsources it. The breakfast is good, but the ticket system is disorganized and we were insulted by an employee because we had forgotten to hand over a pair of tickets to the bakery. But the day before there was no one to deliver them. So the fault was not ours but the hotel's lack of organization. Given all that, we asked the reservation service to change hotels, but we were only attended about 24 hours later (the owners did not accept the cancellation). So profit over rest.

The hotel staff was always ready to help with my concerns, kindly stored my luggage both upon arrival and departure, and the place is very well located in the city centre.

The spot near the university with many nearby shops had no noise, the room was very comfortable and clean. Everything was great, but I would have liked showers with heaters and more towels.

The place is located well. The bed is very small, the bathroom door doesn't close, and there are bad smells from the shower pipe.
